Industrial deodorants: the key force in purifying the industrial environment

In various industrial activities, the generation of odor is a common and thorny problem. As an effective means to solve this problem, industrial deodorants play a vital role in maintaining a good industrial production environment, protecting employee health, and reducing the impact on the surrounding environment. Compared with the ordinary deodorants we use in our daily lives, they are significantly different in many aspects.
1. Ingredient differences
The ingredients of ordinary deodorants are relatively simple, mostly some fragrances, surfactants, etc. Fragrances are mainly used to cover up odors and improve the odor perception of local spaces by emitting pleasant aromas; surfactants assist in cleaning and dispersing odorous substances. For example, the main ingredients of common air fresheners are various flavors and a small amount of auxiliary ingredients. The ingredients of industrial deodorants are complex and diverse, including chemical reagents, microbial flora, plant extracts, etc. according to different deodorization principles and application scenarios. For example, chemical deodorants contain alkaline substances to neutralize acidic odorous gases, while microbial deodorants are rich in specific microbial flora that have been screened and cultivated.
2. Different depths of deodorization principles
Most ordinary deodorants are just simple odor masking or preliminary physical adsorption. For example, common shoe cabinet deodorizers often rely on the simple adsorption of activated carbon to remove some odors, or cover up the odors by emitting fragrance, and do not fundamentally decompose the odor molecules. Industrial deodorizers use more complex and in-depth principles, such as acid-base neutralization and oxidative decomposition in the chemical deodorization principle, and microbial metabolic decomposition in the biological deodorization principle. These principles can essentially change the structure of odor molecules and convert them into harmless substances to achieve a more thorough deodorization effect.
3. Different levels of complexity of applicable scenarios
Ordinary deodorants are mainly suitable for daily life scenes, such as small spaces such as homes, offices, and toilets. The odors produced in these scenes are relatively simple and have low concentrations. For example, deodorants used in home toilets are mainly aimed at odors produced by human excrement. Industrial deodorants are used in complex and harsh environments such as industrial production, garbage disposal, and sewage treatment. The odors in these scenes come from a wide range of sources, with complex ingredients, high concentrations, and may be accompanied by toxic and harmful gases. In garbage disposal sites, there are not only odors caused by the decay of various organic matter, but also harmful gases such as hydrogen sulfide, which requires industrial deodorants to have stronger adaptability and pertinence.
4. Different deodorization effect strengths
Due to the principle and applicable scene limitations of ordinary deodorants, their deodorization effect is relatively weak and lasts for a short time. It may improve mild odors in a short time, but it is difficult to work when faced with large amounts of complex odors. Industrial deodorants, with their powerful deodorization ability and the synergy of multiple deodorization methods, can work effectively in high-concentration, complex odor environments, and the deodorization effect is long-lasting. After using industrial deodorants in sewage treatment plants, the air quality of the plant and surrounding environment can be maintained within an acceptable range for a long time.
